Founder and Principal
Enrique Javier Maymí-Torres is a Puerto Rico–born fundraising and communications strategist with deep experience cultivating donor relationships, designing mission-aligned engagement programs, and leading diverse teams with clarity and empathy. He specializes in equity-centered stewardship, creative community partnerships, and compelling storytelling that strengthens organizational impact. With a background in psychology and a bilingual, culturally grounded approach, Enrique brings strategic thinking, cultural fluency, and disciplined execution to every project he leads.
Enrique started Marea Strategy Group to partner with mission-driven organizations one at a time, beginning at home in Puerto Rico. Every engagement is available in English and Spanish, including live facilitation and event hosting — for Spanish-rooted organizations, bilingualism isn't an add-on, it's a condition of quality work.
